Alex Aguirre. Production System Engineer, Graduate in Social Work from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua UNAN - León, Master in Peace and Development from the University for Peace UN Mandated, Master in Development Projects from the Instituto Centroamericano de Administración Pública ICAP and with a Postgraduate Degree in Human Rights of Vulnerable Populations by UPOLI Nicaragua, currently a Law student at the Central University of Costa Rica UCR, activist for Peace and Civil and Political Rights, has worked in the United Nations Population Fund UNFPA Unit, in the Democratic Security Directorate of the Secretaría General del Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana SG-SICA and in Brot für die Welt. He is founder and associate researcher of the Institute for Peace and Development ipades, the Youth Network of the Americas, speaker and researcher on issues of security and democratic governance, peace processes, international human rights law, as well as criminal justice international, transitional and restorative.
